Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana (mashed)
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 egg (or 2 egg whites)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of baking powder
  • A pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, mash the banana until smooth.
  2. Add the egg, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, depending on your microwave’s power. The cake should be set but still soft in the middle.
  4. Let it cool for 1–2 minutes before enjoying.
  5. Optional: Top with fresh berries, fat-free yogurt, or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor (still zero points).
