Ingredients
- 4–6 turkey wings (separated at the joint if desired)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (optional)
- 1 cup chicken broth (or water)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse turkey wings and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, seasoned salt, black pepper, and poultry seasoning.
- Rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey wings, making sure they’re evenly coated.
- In a large baking dish or roasting pan, scatter the sliced onions and minced garlic across the bottom. Place the seasoned turkey wings on top.
- Pour the chicken broth around (not over) the turkey wings to keep them moist while baking.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
- Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Bake for another 20–30 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the wings are fully cooked (internal temp should be 165°F/74°C).
- Optional: Broil for the last 3–5 minutes if you want extra crispy skin!
- Serve hot with your favorite sides like rice, mashed potatoes, or collard greens!
