Ingredients:

For the Dry Rub:
  • Brown Sugar – ½ cup
  • Garlic Powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Onion Powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Seasoning Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper – ¼ teaspoon
  • Smoked Paprika – 3 tablespoons
  • Chili Powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Cumin – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried Thyme – 1 teaspoon
For the Ribs:
  • Pork Loin Ribs – 3 racks
  • Olive Oil – 2 tablespoons
For the Honey Garlic BBQ Sauce:
  • Honey – 1 cup
  • Soy Sauce – ¼ cup
  • Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • Black Pepper – 1 teaspoon
  • Powdered Ginger – 2 tablespoons
  • Onion Powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Cayenne Pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Ground Nutmeg – ½ teaspoon
  • Ground Thyme – 1 teaspoon
  • Kosher Salt – 1 ½ teaspoons

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ribs:

Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs to ensure tenderness. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

2. Apply the Dry Rub:

Mix all dry rub ingredients in a bowl. Generously coat both sides of the ribs with the rub, pressing it into the meat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for maximum flavor.

3. Cook the Ribs:

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 1.5 hours, then remove the foil and drain any excess liquid.

4. Make the Honey Garlic BBQ Sauce:

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, black pepper, powdered ginger, onion powder, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, thyme, and salt. Simmer for 15–20 minutes until thickened.

5. Glaze & Broil:

Brush a generous layer of sauce over the ribs. Turn the oven to broil and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce caramelizes.

6. Serve & Enjoy:

Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra sauce and enjoy the sticky, flavorful goodness!
