Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- A pinch of salt
- 8 g vanilla sugar
- 100 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee
- 180 g flour
- 20 g bitter cocoa
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a cake pan.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt until fluffy.
- Add the vanilla sugar and mix well until dissolved.
- Warm the milk slightly, then stir in the instant coffee until dissolved. Let it cool a bit.
- Slowly add the milk-coffee mixture into the egg mixture while stirring.
- Sift together the flour and cocoa powder, then gently fold into the wet mixture until smooth and lump-free.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing. Serve plain or dust with powdered sugar.
