Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea with Honey

3 green tea bags

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced

Instructions

Boil water
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. -
Add ginger
Add sliced fresh ginger to the boiling water. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to release the flavor. -
Steep tea
Remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Cover and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. -
Strain & sweeten
Remove tea bags and strain out the ginger slices. Stir in honey while the tea is still warm until fully dissolved. -
Add lemon
Let the tea cool slightly, then stir in fresh lemon juice. -
Chill & serve
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until cold. Serve over ice cubes, garnished with lemon slices.
