Garlic Butter Chicken with Lemon Parmesan Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Parmesan Pasta:

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Add garlic, lemon zest, and juice, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Pasta: Cook linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add garlic powder, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth. Add reserved pasta water to adjust the consistency.
  4. Combine: Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce. Add the chicken back to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy your creamy, zesty dish!
