Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 strips of bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Fresh parsley or green onions (for garnish)
- Optional: pickles or diced tomatoes for topping
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving 1-2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the pan.
- Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté until soft (about 3 minutes). Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if necessary. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and bacon into the sauce. Mix well to coat everything evenly.
- Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley or green onions. Add diced pickles or tomatoes on top if desired for that classic cheeseburger flair!
