Carnivore Crack (Bacon & Cheese Snack) Recipe
A salty, crispy, and utterly addictive snack made entirely from carnivore-friendly ingredients. Perfect for keto lovers, meat enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a low-carb, high-protein treat!
Ingredients (makes about 12–15 pieces)
-
12 slices of thick-cut bacon
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite hard cheese)
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for flavor)
-
½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for extra smokiness)
-
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven:
Set the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. -
Prepare the bacon:
Lay the bacon slices flat on the baking sheet. Try not to overlap them. -
Add seasoning:
Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper evenly over the bacon. -
Bake the bacon:
Place the sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy but not burnt. Keep an eye on it as ovens vary. -
Add cheese:
Remove the bacon from the oven. Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over each slice. Return the baking sheet to the oven for 3–5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and slightly golden. -
Cool & crisp:
Allow the bacon and cheese to cool for a few minutes. The cheese will harden slightly, creating a crispy, addictive texture. -
Serve:
Break the bacon and cheese into bite-sized pieces. Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Tips & Tricks

For extra crunch, broil the bacon-cheese for 1–2 minutes after baking. Watch closely to avoid burning.
