baked BBQ baby back ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 rack of baby back ribs
  • ½ cup ancho chile powder
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried chipotle pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Prepare Dry Rub: Mix ancho chile powder, sugars, salt, black pepper, cumin, mustard, cayenne, and chipotle pepper in a bowl.
  3. Season Ribs: Rub the dry mixture generously on both sides of the ribs. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Bake the ribs for about 2½ hours until tender.
  5. Add Sauce: Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully open the foil. Brush barbecue sauce generously on both sides of the ribs.
  6. Finish Baking: Return the ribs to the oven (uncovered) and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  7. Serve: Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Enjoy your flavorful and tender ribs! Let me know how they turn out. 😊
