Easy Frozen Oreo Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed (reserve ¼ cup for topping)
  • â…“ cup melted butter
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip or whipped topping
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1½ cups cold milk
  • Optional: extra crushed Oreos or chocolate syrup for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Crush Oreos in a food processor or in a zip-top bag using a rolling pin.
    • Mix crushed Oreos (except reserved ¼ cup) with melted butter.
    • Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan to form the crust. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Cream Layer:
    • In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
    • Fold in half of the Cool Whip.
    • Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
  3. Chocolate Pudding Layer:
    • Whisk the instant pudding mix with cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
    • Spread pudding over the cream layer.
  4. Top It Off:
    • Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
    • Sprinkle with reserved crushed Oreos.
    • Optional: Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  5. Freeze:
    • Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  6. Serve:
    • Let it sit at room temp for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
