4. Serve

Serve warm — soft, buttery, and delicious!
Perfect with curries, cheese, honey, or just plain.

 Notes & Tips

  • Yogurt: Makes the bread extra soft and tender. You can omit it if you want a firmer texture.

  • Resting: Even a 10-minute rest makes the dough easier to roll and fluffier when cooked.

  • Storage: Keep leftovers in a sealed container. Reheat in a pan or microwave with a damp towel.

  • Freezing: You can freeze the cooked breads. Reheat directly on a pan from frozen.

Q & A

Q1: Can I make it gluten-free?
Yes! Substitute all-purpose flour with a good-quality gluten-free all-purpose blend (with xanthan gum).

Q2: Can I use only water instead of milk?
Yes, but milk adds richness and softness. For best flavor, use at least half milk.

Q3: How do I make it crispier?
Cook slightly longer on each side and brush with less butter.

Q4: Can I stuff it with cheese or garlic?
Absolutely! Add shredded cheese, garlic butter, or herbs between two rolled dough circles and seal the edges before cooking.
