Condensed Milk Cake recipe

Condensed Milk Cake (One-Bowl Recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

(Optional toppings):

  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Fresh berries or whipped cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch (23 cm) round or square cake pan, or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Don’t overmix!
  4. Pour the batter into your prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden.
  6. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar or serve with fresh fruit or ice cream!

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a bit of lemon zest or almond extract.
  • You can also turn this into a layer cake with whipped cream or jam in between.
